Season’s coldest night at Gulmarg

SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Gulmarg experienced season’s coldest night with temperature plummeting to -3.6 degree Celsius today.
The ski resort recorded the season’s coldest night today at -3.6 degree Celsius against the normal -of 0.6 degree Celsius which is 3.2 degree Celsius below normal for the place.
Pahalgam remained the second coldest place with minimum temperature dipping to -2.4 degree Celsius against the normal -3.3 degree Celsius and it was 0.9 degree Celsius above normal for the place.
Srinagar had a low of 1.4 degree Celsius against the 4.8 degree Celsius recorded on the previous night and it was 2.3 degree Celsius above normal for the city during this period of the season.
Qazigund recorded a low of 1.2 degree Celsius, Kupwara 1.2 degree Celsius and Kokernag 2.6 degree Celsius today.
The Meteorological Department forecast weather to remain dry over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
