Seats in passenger vehicles

Sir,
In an era of the empowerment of women in our country, our state seems to be less serious. This is amply proved by the fact that in the passenger vehicles plied in the cities and villages , to and fro, there are no seats reserved for women . In case there are  any such rules , they are never implemented. The problem with the women passengers is felt more during the office , school and college timings in the morning and evening.
The Government must strictly implement this practice so that School,  college going girls and other traveling women do not face embarrassment while traveling standing in the Metadors and other passenger vehicles. Almost in all major cities of the country the  practice for reservation of seats for women, the disabled and the senior citizens is implemented strictly. Why not in our state?
Yours etc….
