SRINAGAR, April 7: As per the order issued on July 14, 2021, by the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, second Coordination Committee meeting was held today at Government Guest House Kulgam under the chairmanship of Tahir Khurshid Raina, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kulgam.
The Meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Additional Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kulgam Manzoor Ahmad Zarger, Public Prosecutor Ejaz Ahmed, president Bar Association Kulgam Mohd Shafi Bhat and districts heads of departments like Housing Board, R&B, Power, Health, etc.
Secretary Coordination Committee (Chief Judicial Magistrate Kulgam) Manzoor Ahmad Zarger put the agenda of meeting into discussion. Chairman of the meeting impressed upon all the participating district officers to address all the issues which were raised in the discussion. The stress was laid on expediting the construction of new Court Complex Kulgam and other infrastructural issues pertaining to the existing court complex.
Issues relating to security of court and judicial officers were also taken up and addressed. Some issues relating to smooth functioning of criminal justice system were also discussed. All the issues were discussed at length and very well addressed.
The officials from the District administration ensured prompt and positive response to all the issues which got deliberated upon in the meeting for ensuring smooth functioning of process of dispensation of justice in district Kulgam.
