JAMMU, Feb 19: Secretary, Cooperative Department visited Super Bazaar here.
Naresh Sharma, General Manager apprised him about the problems being faced by the institution and the staff including Super Bazaar land and upliftment of complex.
General Manager apprised the Secretary that Jammu Development Authority has constructed the multi story car parking on the land of Super Bazaar and till date no compensation has been paid to the Super Bazaar. Moreover, the JDA has encroached the land to be left under Building Construction Act.
To attract the consumer, the General Manager requested the Secretary to release funds for upliftment of sales complex attraction of the consumers and also to improve the facilities of the consumers in the complex and for installation of lift. General Manager has also briefed the Secretary regarding the problems being faced by the employees.
Secretary has assured the General Manager and the employees that matter regarding the compensation of land will be taken up with the JDA authorities. He also assured to sanction funds for betterment of the Super Bazaar and will also sanction funds for the installation of the lift in the Bazaar premises.
Secretary advised the employees of the Super Bazaar to do their jobs with honesty and dedication and also assured full cooperation to the General Manager, who has joined the institution recently.
