Year 2012 is drawing to a close. A good beginning for the new year, after few days, is in sight. There are definite signs of shake up visible on the horizon, in security affairs, for quite some time, so far as effective patrolling on borders or arranging deportation of wanted terrorist from other countries (DE 23-10-12) or successful operation in encounters, besides other strategies including frequent visits of those who are at the helm of affairs both from civil and military establishments and other diplomatic efforts are concerned.
The statesmanship and visionary approach of present CM is no less significant. Authorities have shown that they can make things possible. However, at times, we have reasons to worry whether we will indeed stay on track or veer off. Only time can judge. Let us hope for good.
The country has to win battle against terror menace with commitment. We are now in process of and have opened new borders to carry out trade and instill faith and goodwill.
So far so good. Anyway, this also calls for strict vigil, maintaining close monitoring and stream ling operational processes at every level on an on going basis. Any apparent success should not close our vision on long term basis. Doing of the same as in the past could be disastrous.
Let us learn to achieve the goal of transforming anaemic society to a pro active force, keeping in view our scale and size. Take instance of china.
