SRINAGAR : Security forces launched a search operation against a group of militants in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal early this morning despite snowfall, official sources said.
They said 5 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir launched a joint operation at village Hadoora in Ganderbal following a tip-off about the presence of militants.
Security forces had sealed all exit points and launched the operation, they said, adding that further details are awaited. (AGENCIES)
