SRINAGAR: Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation in a village in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here on Saturday afternoon.
They said following specific information about presence of militants, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 164 battalion of CRPF at village Watnard in Anantnag.
The operation was still going on when the reports last came in. (AGENCIES)
