KISHTWAR, May 10: Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), GoI, R P Goyal, CMD, NHPC Ltd and R K Chaudhary, Director (Technical), NHPC Ltd, visited hydropower projects of NHPC and CVPP(P)L for two days.
At Dulhasti Power Station, Pankaj Agarwal, R P Goyal and R K Chaudhary visited Power House where all the three units were running at rated capacity. During the visit Secretary Power, directed the Power House staff to carry out the forthcoming maintenance comprehensively and as per schedule to avoid forced outages of units during the peak season of generation. He was also apprised about the ongoing activities of Dulhasti Stage-II Project.
A meeting was also organized in the Power House in presence of Suprakash Adhikari, ED, RO, Jammu and Ramesh Mukhiya, MD CVPP (P) L in which Suresh Kumar, General Manager (In-charge) presented the details of the works related with Power House, Dam & township of Dulhasti Power Station.
On the second day of the visit, saplings were planted in the courtyard of Chenab Bhavan. Apart from this, Pankaj Agarwal, RP Goyal and R K Chaudhary also held a meeting with the trade union members and discussed various issues.
In his address, Secretary Power called upon everyone to work with full effort and dedication to maximize generation of electricity & take the corporation to new heights of success.
All the dignitaries also visited Dul Dam of Dulhasti Power Station. During the visit Secretary Power, discussed the emergency preparedness of the Power Station for upcoming monsoon season & directions were issued by the Secretary Power to staff of Power Station to be more vigilant for operation of the Dam during monsoon season.
On this occasion, Dr Dipankar Deb, General Manager, K V Sivakumar, General Manager and all the officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station were present.
