SEECC apprises DSE about violation of transfer norms

JAMMU, Aug 11: A deputation of School Education Employees Co-ordination Committee, called on Director School Education Jammu and highlighted the alleged violation of Transfer Policy in recent transfer of Masters.
The deputation, led by Amarnath Thakur, Maheshwar Prashad and Satish Dutta, alleged pick and choose in the transfers and explained that  some Masters have been adjusted at zero kilometer from their previous place of posting while some others were intentionally targeted and shifted to remote areas of other districts.
The deputation demanded immediate modification in the transfer list and adjustment of Master to their parent district.  It was also demanded that the Masters, who are not resident of Jammu district, should be sent to their home district from where they have been selected for the post of teacher.
Rahul Singh, provincial president of the SEECC, stressed that physically handicapped Masters should be adjusted at suitable places and there should be transparency in the transfers.
The SEECC urged the Director to adjust promotees of 2014 DPC, who are still working as Teacher and also highlighted some other demands, which include  timely release of SSA, RMSA, NPS salaries, transfer policy for married female teachers, providing 2nd teacher in all single teacher primary schools, earned leave benefit to all teachers etc.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured necessary action on the demands.
