JAMMU, May 12: Sehwag Cricket Academy defeated Siddhant Cricket Academy by 32 runs in the Junior Pitch T-20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Sehwag Cricket Academy ground, here.
The tournament, in which three teams are taking part is being organized by Sehwag Cricket Academy for under-15 boys.
ivek Khajuria, former State Player was the chief guest on the occasion.
Sehwag Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, they scored 160 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Aarnav was the top scorer with 49 runs, while Paras, Varinder and Adhishwar Kotwal contributed 28, 19 and 18 runs to the total.
From Siddhant Cricket Academy, Bismadh Singh took 3 wickets, while Mehul Khajuria and Achintay Khajuria shared 1-wicket each.
In reply, Siddhant Cricket Academy scored 138 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 22 runs.
Devesh Puri was the top scorer with 32 runs, while Mehul Khajuria scored 25 runs. Achintay Khajuria and Suryansh Manhas contributed 20 and 19 runs to the total.
From Sehwag Academy, Yash and Sarv Vashish shared 2 wickets each. Aarnav of Sehwag Cricket Academy was declared as the man of the match.
