Select centres freight dips on excess position of trucks

NEW DELHI, May 4:  Freight rates for 10-tonne load for select destinations declined by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following excess position of trucks amid less cargo movements.
Transporters said heavy availability of trucks and thin cargo movements mainly pulled down some of centres freights.
Delhi to Kolkata and Pune rates declined by Rs.1,000 each to Rs.31,000 and Rs.28,000.
Rates to Mumbai, Indore and Kanpur also went down by Rs.1,000 each to Rs.26,000, Rs.20,000 and Rs.18,000.
