NEW DELHI, Mar 23: Freight rates for 10-tonne load section to select destinations rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today, following tight availability of trucks amid busy cargo movements.
Transporters said less position of trucks and increased cargo movements mainly pushed up freights.
Delhi to Indore and Ahmedabad rates went up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 21,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively.
Rates to Patna and Hyderabad also increased by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 27,000 and Rs 48,000, respectively.
