Selection criteria for a teacher

Sir,
As a matter of routine the selection for the post of teachers was being done according to  their qualification as well as their performance in the interview, but this time Board has  introduced the Test System with undue weightage to it; and kicked out higher qualified from  the competition by giving only 2 or 3 points for their qualification.
Higher qualified were acquiring more and more qualification to get job on the basis of their  qualification; but failed to do so in a competition with their counterparts with just a  qualification of 10+2 who were preparing for Entrance Test to get admissions in different  professional courses.
M.Ed with Master Degree is the top qualification to be a teacher, which needs nothing more to  check him / her and must be given top priority in selection as a teacher. The above Test System  is an insult to the degrees and degree holders.
It may also be pertinent to mention here that the syllabus framed for the Test of a teacher  does not has even touch the B.Ed and M.Ed Courses (Specialized Courses for a Teacher), which  reveals a malafide intention on the part of the authorities  to ignore higher qualified people, who are about to  overage within next some months.
In this context, Board Authorities are requested to re-consider the proposed criteria for the  selection of a teacher as the B.Ed / M.Ed are the specialized degrees for a teacher and they  should not be ignored on the basis of a Test.
Yours etc…..
