Besides, terrorist has also fired upon a Kashmir Pandit in Chotigam, Shopian of South Kashmir.
Raising serious concern over selective killings in Kashmir, the former Minister said those responsible for killings would be punished and not allowed to go scot-free. “Terrorists are attacking soft targets and unarmed minorities to create fear and terror in Kashmir. The violence is the result of the pressure they are feeling,” he said, adding that they never want to settle minorities in Srinagar again.
The former Minister also expressed grief over the martyrdom of soldier in a terrorist attack at Maisuma in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk yesterday. He said that the nation would never forget the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers who laid their life for the well being of the countrymen.
