BHADERWAH, Mar 19: Department of Botany, Government Degree College (GDC) organized a seminar titled ‘Global Warming and Climate Change’.
In the seminar, eleven students presented their papers in the seminar.
Dr Javid Iqbal, HoD Botany presented the key note address and highlighted the present scenario of green house gases responsible for global warming and climate change.
Akhilesh Kotwal, Sabiha Shapoo and Mohammad Iqbal secured first, second and third positions respectively.
The jury members were Prof Naz Zargar from Department of English and Prof NK Manhas, HoD Physics.
Among others present were Prof Basharat Iqbal, HoD English, Prof HS Soodan, Department of Botany, Nasir Mehboob, YAC President Bhaderwah, Mohammad Iqbal Sadiqi, Prof Surinder Singh Parihar, etc.
