JAMMU, Sept 14: A seminar on “Design your career Design your life” organised by National Institute of Fashion Designing (NIFD) was held here today.
The seminar was organised by NIFD in academic collaboration with Padam Shri Padma Sachdeva Govt Women Post Graduate College Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of Women College Gandhinagar, Prof Meenu Mahajan said, “The seminar is under Academic collaboration/ linkage program organised under academic collaboration. Fashion designing is emerging as the most attractive field for young energetic resources.”

Addressing to the participants, NIFD Chairperson Vanita Thakur said that NIFD is committed to provide the platform to the youth who are ready to explore the Fashion Designing field. For the last many years youth are making their career in Fashion designing field as it provide more stability as well as financial and social security to youth.
Thakur said, “in the coming days more seminars are going to be organised as it helps NIFD to connect with the deserving human resources.”
She also expressed gratitude to Women College Gandhi Nagar for organising one day seminar in their premises.
