UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: A seminar on essential medicines was organized today in District Hospital Udhampur to celebrate National Unity Week.
The seminar was organized at conference hall of the Hospital by Chief Medical Officer Udhampur Dr K C Dogra, Medical Superintendent DH Udhampur Dr Vijay Raina, District Health Officer Udhampur Dr Mohd Yaseen and DTO Udhampur Dr Kavi Raj.
The occasion was graced by President Municipal Council Udhampur Dr Jogeshwar Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur M S Khan, Ex-Director Health and Family Welfare MCH and Immunization J&K, Dr Chander Prakash, Mrs Renuka Drug Controller and Dr Harleen Chopra from Command Hospital Udhampur.
The resources person on the occasion was Dr Vishal Tandon (Professor, Department of Pharmacology, GMC Jammu). He delivered a public awareness lecture on essential medicines and Jan Aushadi medicines.
