Sena demands Assembly seats equal to Kashmir in Jammu before elections

JAMMU, Jan 12: Shiv Sena J&K has appealed to the President of India to direct the State Governor, Satya Pal Malik to not hold Assembly elections in J&K till the Assembly seats for Jammu become equal to those in Kashmir.
Addressing a gathering at Gandhi Nagar here today State General Secretary Shiv Sena, Manish Sahni said, from the last seven decades Jammuites have been victimized by every Government in the State.
He informed that on the directions of Shiv Sena State President, Dimpy Kohli they will hold weekly meetings for this demand and to aware the people on delimitation.
Sahni also said that Jammu people will welcome and participate in the elections only when seats for Jammu Assembly will become equal to those for Kashmir.
He asked the Jammu people if the demand of equal seats is not conceded then prefer NOTA option.
