Sena demands CBI probe into allegations by IAS officer

JAMMU, Sept 17: An IAS officer has exposed the claims of corruption-free and transparency in Jammu and Kashmir Government and was transferred five times in a year after which he made allegations of harassment and all this should be investigated by CBI.
This was stated by Manish Shani, J&K Shiv Sena UBT president while addressing a press conference here today.
He said that Ashok Parmar, 1992 batch IAS officer, has accused the administration of corruption along with harassment and has filed a complaint with National Commission for Scheduled Castes in this regard.
Shani said that the officer has claimed that during his tenure as Principal Secretary in Jal Shakti Department he initiated action against the ongoing scams in the department but was immediately transferred.
“Similarly, the officer faced transfers five times from March 2022 to the present day,” he maintained urging the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to order a CBI investigation into Parmar’s allegations.
