Sena protests against ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’

JAMMU, July 24: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit here today staged a protest demonstration against the film ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ produced by Vivek Agnihotri.
The protest was led by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K who while addressing protesters alleged the film as part of some conspiracy of spreading venom on Kashmiriyat.
They asked Vivek Agnihotri to make a film on ‘The Manipur Files’.
The protesters were holding placards with ‘Stop selling Kashmir’ etc written on them.
Talking to reporters, Sahni claimed that after the release of ‘The Kashmir Files’, there was a noticeable increase in target killings of Hindus in Kashmir.
He said that Vivek Agnihotri should make a film on the current situation in Manipur that brings shame to humanity.
“Nearly 10,000 homes were set on fire, more than 60,000 people, like Kashmiri Hindus, have migrated in their own country and more than 150 people have lost their lives,” he alleged referring to Manipur.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber, chairman, Rakesh Gupta, vice president, Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, president Kamgar Wing, Raj Singh, Sumit Sharma, Neelam Rani, Sunny Kumar, Mangu Ram, Shiv Kumar, Jagbir Singh, Tarsem Lal, Arun Kumar and many others were also present on the occasion.
