JAMMU, Dec 15: A deputation of Association for the Welfare of Senior Citizens, Jammu led by its president AK Arora met Danish Rana, IGP Jammu Zone and apprised him about various issues related to senior citizens.
During the meeting, Arora suggested various measures to be taken by the police force to watch the interests of old people by having interaction meetings with the public at various levels thereby enabling a healthy atmosphere in the society.
On behalf of association, Arora assured to cooperate fully with the police at every level in the interests of senior citizens.
While speaking, IGP assured full support of the Police Department.
Among others present were KK Mahajan, vice president, RC Gupta, general secretary, Chander Parkash, joint secretary, SK Jain, etc.
