Srinagar, May 18: Senior journalist and former Resident Editor of Daily Srinagar News, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, died today after a prolonged illness at his residence at Sholipora in district Budgam.
Bhat, 70, had around 50 years of association with journalism in Kashmir. He was a noble soul and was ill for the last few years, mostly confined to bed.
His death has been widely condoled by the journalist fraternity in Kashmir.
