Senior KP leader calls on RRC, discusses issues of migrants

JAMMU, July 26: M.K.Yogi senior Kashmiri Pandit leader today called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants, Dr Arvind Karwani to discuss the important problems of displaced people from Valley being faced by them on day to day basis and sought their early resolution without any delay.
In a press statement issued later , Yogi said he discussed the pertinent issues of migrants like bifurcation cases, domicile issues, addition and deletions issues , defunct tube wells in Jagti, repair of all quarters in camps and daily sanitation and cleanliness in all camps, replacement of defunct street lights in Jagti and other camps, renewal of weaker section certificates, correction issues, efficiency and effective promptness in official working system in RC Office and issues of PM package employees.
He said Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner was requested to ensure that these genuine problems raised during the meeting are addressed on priority basis so that migrants feel a sigh of relief.
He further said special stress was given on solving drinking water issue at Jagti township by making all the defunct tube wells functional at an earliest so that the water crisis issue is solved.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Dr.Arvind Karwani gave a patient hearing to the problems listed by leader in the meeting and assured early addressal of all issues.
