MUMBAI, Mar 25: The 30 scrip indiex of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was down today by 32.65 poins to 22,022.83 in the opening trade on profit booking at higher levels by local operators.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell by 2.95 points to 6,580.55.
The Sensex recorded intra day high and low at 22,047.99 and 21,926.87 points respectively.
Selling in Oil and Gas, Auto, Technology and IT stocks kept the market low in the opening trade. However, Metal, Health Care, Bankex and Capital Goods rose which capped from further losses, broker said.
In scrips Reliance declind by 2.64 pc to Rs 880.70, ONGC by 2.07 pc to Rs 314.55, Wipro by 1.35 pc to Rs 525.45 and Bharti Airtel by 0.70 pc to Rs 292.
The gainers were Gail India by 2.15 pc to Rs 378.30, Tata Steel by 1.78 pc to Rs 369.40, BHEL by 1.70 pc to Rs 191.40 and HDFC by 0.95 pc to Rs 868.30. (AGENCIES)
