SEOA discusses demands, hopes for early redressal

JAMMU, July 14: A meeting of School Education Officers Association (SEOA) held under the presidentship of S Paramjit Singh, discussed thread-barely their grievances, here today.
The speakers present showed anguish over the delaying tactics of high ups at the helm of affairs in School Education Department who are not conceding their genuine demands.
The demands discussed in the meeting included regularization of school education officers, changing the designation as Principal Secondary School instead of Headmaster, considering the post of Headmaster and Principal as non-vocational, settling the pension cases, releasing salary of Headmasters working against the post of RMSA , transparency in transfer of officers and other related demands.
Other who addressed the meeting were S Kulwant Singh, Paramjit Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Himmat Rai, Bachan Lal, Jasbir Kour, Chattar Singh, Anita Sharma, Salim Mohd, Ram Rakha, Kuldeep Langeh, Vinod Mantoo and Prem Paul.
