Separate budget for KPs till their return among demands raised

JAMMU, July 10: A meeting of AIMCCC was held here today at Jagti which was presided over by AIMCCC president, Desh Rattan Pandita.
Speakers in the meeting raised demands like separate budget for KPs in exile for their welfare till their return to Kashmir.
Another demand raised was enhancement of cash assistance to Rs. 25,000/per month/per family, retrieval of encroached land of KPs, temples and shrines and one time compensation for over-aged educated KP youth for establishing business units.
Still more demands raised in the meeting included one govt job per family of migrant KPs, separate colonies on Jagti pattern and political empowerment of displaced KPs by reserving one seat in Lok Sabha for them.
Other demands included representation of KPs in Shri Amar Nath Trust, 4 bore wells at Jagti, release of 50 per cent ex-gratia of burnt/destroyed houses in Kashmir and allotment of constructed shops to displaced KP shopkeepers at Jagti.
B.K Raina, chairman; P.N Jalali, vice president; J.L Raina, general secretary; R.L Sharma, senior vice president; Meela Misri, distt Mahila president Doda/Baderwah; Priya Dhar, district Mahila president Jammu; Vinoo Misri, media advisor; senior leaders-Sagar Koul, Anil Mehta, Sunil Kachroo, O.N Koul, Rajinder Tikoo, Satish Bhat, Babloo, Krishan Lal, Bimla Bhan, Asha Koul, Brahmi Bhat, Veena Dhar, Dharma Devi and others were also present in the meeting.
