KATHUA, July 11: A septuagenarian and a youth allegedly committed suicide in different areas of this district.
As per reports, Hans Raj (72), son of Gorkhu Ram of Village Banordh allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree in nearby field of his house.
However, a youth identified as Abhinandan (21), son of Vijay Kumar of village Kishanpur allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance. He died during treatment at GMCH Jammu.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Mahanpur and Billawar Police have taken cognizance in this regards.
