Sericulture employees project burning issues

JAMMU, May 8: Sericulture Development Department employees including  various circle- incharges  projected their burning issues  and also forwarded memorandum to the concerned higher authorities.

In a meeting of the circle in-charges of the department and other officials held here, the speakers discussed their issues at length.  They stressed for outsourcing of departmental technical  labour intensive   work activities, speedy recruitment of Class-IV employees against the vacancies created, timely conduct of DPCs of all cadre,  remove shortage of ministerial staff  in various districts, increase the floor price of commercial cocoons rates from  Rs 510 to Rs 1000, technical grades to all the field functionaries, repair/ renovation of departmental assets  and speedy disposal of inquiries/ settlement of the cases of suspended employees.
It was also resolved to constitute a  22-member core committee of the circle heads  to take up the issues of the employees with the higher authorities.
