JAMMU, June 14: Three days Service Providers’ Training on Quality Assurance was organized by National Health Mission, J&K in collaboration with National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi at Conference Hall, State Health Society, Nagrota, here.
The Training was held under the supervision and guidance of Dr Yashpal Sharma, Mission Director, NHM, J&K.
The Training was inaugurated by Dr Chander Parkash, Deputy Director (HQ).
Earlier, Dr Harjeet Rai, Divisional Nodal Officer, NHM, Jammu presented welcome address.
Experts from National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi Dr Parminder Gautam, Senior Consultant, Quality Improvement and Dr Sushant Agrawal, Consultant, Quality Improvement through detailed power point presentations, oriented the participants about various aspects of Quality Assurance and steps in improving health care and achieving certification under NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standards).
Dr Yashpal Sharma, MD, NHM, J&K, while addressing the participants in the valedictory session thanked NHSRC, New Delhi for their support in organizing the training in the State.
Dr Narinder Bhatial, State Nodal Officer, Quality Assurance, National Health Mission, J&K stressed upon the participants to implement Quality Assurance checklists /Parameters in their respective hospitals.
The training program was attended by Medical Superintendents, Deputy Medical Superintendants, Consultants of various Specialties, Medical Officers, Staff Nurses of District Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu and District Hospital Udhampur, along with Deputy Chief Medical Officers, District Programme Managers, District Monitoring & Evaluation Officers and RMNCH+A Consultants of the two districts, and the State Programme Management Unit Quality Assurance, NHM, J&K.
