JAMMU, Jan 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Anil Kumar Masoom today started deep drain work at Pacca Danga area of Ward number 10 which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 9.75 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Masoom urged upon the locals of the area to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and shun the habit of throwing debris and garbage in public drains and lanes.
He urged upon the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean and a beautiful city.
Senior BJP leader, Yudhvir Sethi, who was also present on the occasion while addressing the people appealed for cooperating JMC in various development works undertaken in Jammu city.
