JAMMU, Feb 26: BJP J&K vice president, Yudhvir Sethi released a devotional songs album ‘Sher Te Swar Maa’ here, today.
Speaking on the occasion, Sethi complimented the singer of devotional song besides musicians and composer on the release.
Observing that music knows no boundaries, the senior BJP leader said it binds the people in a unique cord and generates harmony in the society. “And, when music relates to spirituality, it directly touches souls and creates an aura free of tension and hatred”, Sethi said while releasing devotional musical album sung by Nikhli Bharti. The lyrics and video of the album was edited by Laddi Singhpuria.
Sethi lauded the efforts of Nikhli Bharti, saying his quest for devotional songs holds a promise to be a leading artist in the near future, “Devotional music quenches the spiritual thirst of devotees”, he said, wishing the young singer a bright future. He said music plays pivotal role in preserving culture and taking it beyond boundaries.
The senior BJP leader said that the Union Territory has no dearth of talent but the only need is to identify and polish it by expert hands. He also hoped that the album will inspire young artists of the UT to explore their hidden talent and make their niche in the society. He hoped this would go a long way to promote local talent and said that youth should be educated about our traditional values which are the foundations of our age old heritage.
