JAMMU, Sept 23: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front in a joint meeting today under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita has demanded reconstitution of Apex Committee by giving representation to the camp representatives in it.
He said that the present return formula was not acceptable to the Community and the Government should ensure the rehabilitation of the community at secure and safe places in Valley. He demanded that three separate townships be constructed in Valley for settlement of migrants there. For four South Kashmir districts the township should be at one place, similarly there should be separate township, for three Central Kashmir districts and another township should be for three North Kashmir districts, he added.
He said moreover the Government should provide employment to each and every KP youth on his return to Valley. He demanded that educational loan and other loan to migrants be recommended through Relief Commissioner instead of other organisations.
