JAMMU, May 28: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thakeray State unit led by Dimpy Kohli today urged the Union Government to ensure the rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Valley within 12 months.
The Sena leader said that Kashmiri Pandits are the indigenous people of Valley and symbol of nationalism in Kashmir and their rehabilitation in Valley is must for strengthening national cause.
He said the claims of Pandits return have proved hollow so far and the Government should make sincere efforts in this regard. He also favoured rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley as per the wishes and aspirations of the community. Mr Kohli and other Sena leaders Vikrant Kapoor, Vinay Gupta and Rakesh Gupta warned Government against shifting of AIIMS to Valley.
