Seven injured in road accidents

RAMBAN, Aug 27: Three different road accidents here today left seven people injured.
Police sources informed that a rashly driven dumper bearing registration number JK21G-4786 hit a car of Maruti make bearing registration number JK03A-0731, near Army Camp Karool on Highway leaving three persons onboard including the driver of the car injured.
The trio were rushed to District Hospital Ramban for treatment and were identified as Rayes Ahmed, son of Fareed Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Panthyal; Obaid Ahmed, son of Mohammad Sheef, resident of Magerkote, Ramban and Abdul Waheed, son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Khowra.
In another accident an unknown rashly driven Motorcyclist hit a girl identified as Santosh Kumari leaving her injured and she was shifted to District Hospital for treatment.
In yet another accident, a rashly driven vehicle of Tata Sumo make bearing registration number JK14B-1004 while on way to Sumbar from Digdool rammed into a rock which left the three persons onboard including the driver of the vehicle injured.
All the three injured were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
Police has identified the injured as Munisha Devi, wife of Kulveer Singh, resident of Bhajmasta; Mohammad Yousaf, son of Noor Jamal, resident of Sumbar and driver of the vehicle Romesh Singh, son of Sham Singh, resident of Sumbar, Ramban.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Vijay Kotwal said three separate cases in FIRs with Nos. 203/204/205 of 2024 were registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station Ramban and investigations started.
