JAMMU, Dec 25: Seven persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a constable of J&K police identified as Varinder Sharma (38) son of Vishnu Dutt Sharma, resident of Bishnah and another person namely Yog Raj (35) son of Ghaseeta Ram, Ramgarh were injured when their bikes collided with each other at Bustand.
Similarly, Deewakar Singh (16) son of Talwinder Singh, resident of Gho Manhasa and Ajmair Singh (20), resident of Aakalpur also suffered injuries when their bikes collided at Gho Manhasa.
A man identified as Pawan Kumar (62) son of Faqir Chand and his wife Nirmala Kumari, resident of Kannachak got injured when the scooty on which they were travelling, was hit by a car at Muthi bridge.
A car hit a bike and injured its rider at Paloura. The victim was identified as Senior Grade Constable of J&K Police namely Sanjay Kumar (40) son of Subash Chander, resident of Paloura.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
