Seven injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Apr 22: Police today said seven persons were injured in separate road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said an unknown vehicle collided with a motorcycle at Pazalpora in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to Mohammad Younis Lone, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and Khursheed Ahmad Lone. “All the injured were shifted to Bijbehara hospital for treatment where from they were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
The spokesman said an accident took place between a motorcycle and a Maruti car at Buchoo in Tral area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist namely Momin-ul-Ashraf. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral for treatment, where from he was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The police spokesman said an accident took place a trawler bearing registration number JK22-0313 and a Tata mini bus bearing registration number JK03-1071 met with an accident near FCI at Post Mirbazar in Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to two passengers namely Mohammad Shafi Beigh and Abdul Rashid Shala. “Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment,” he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said an unknown motorcyclist hit and injured a lady Haneefa Begum at Devsar in Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment where from she was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment,” he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
