JAMMU, May 19: Jammu Police has seized seven vehicles involved in illegal mining from different parts of the district.
According to a police spokesman, one tractor-trolley each bearing registration numbers JK02AW-3418 and JK02DD-7695 were seized by Police Station Akhnoor and Police Station Bishnah, respectively while a tractor-trolley without registration number was seized by Police Station Nagrota and another without registration number was seized by Police Station Miran Sahib.
He said a dumper bearing registration number JK02CN-4803 and one tractor-trolley bearing chasis number MBNBEEBBELJNN03822 was seized by Police Post Phallian Mandal whereas a dumper bearing registration number JK02DC-5656 was also seized by Police Post Sidhra.
The DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same, the spokesman added.
