Several contribute to supplement Govt efforts on containing COVID-19

JAMMU, April 23: In the fight against COVID-19, J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) Retirees Welfare Association, Jammu Zone in the presence of D K Bali, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank, D D Gupta, Chief AI&V Department and Ajay Bharti, HoD FIID, donated an amount of Rs 3.65 lakh on behalf of all the retired staff members (Jammu Zone) of J&K Grameen Bank to Chairman, Janak Raj Angural, for donation to PM CARES Fund.
In an endeavor to supplement efforts of the district administration Rajouri towards containing the spread of Coronavirus infection, Tariq Educational Society contributed an amount of Rs 3.5 lakh in the District Disaster Relief Fund. Vice Chairman, DPS Rajouri, Sajjad Tariq, Administrator DPS Rajouri, Mohd Rafi and Principal Tariq College of Education, Amandeep presented the cheque of the amount to the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri.
Rajinder Sharma, Chair-man, Municipal Committee, Sunderbani, donated Rs 1.51 lakh in PM CARES Fund and handed over the Bank Cheque for the same to Ravinder Raina, president, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Senior BJP leaders, Professor PL Kaul and Sheela Kaul also handed over Bank Cheques worth Rs 25,000 and Rs 2000 respectively, for donation to PM CARES Fund to Ravinder Raina.
Javaid Iqbal Zargar, a senior BJP leader and social activist, on behalf of M/s Wali Construction handed over a Bank Cheque worth Rs 50,000 to DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D Dofiode in the presence of SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed, for donation to PM CARES Fund.
Senior Citizens Welfare Forum, Katra handed over a cheque of Rs 51,000 for PM CARES Fund to DC Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib.
