JAMMU, Apr 26: BJP Mandal president Muthi-Paloura Suresh Kumar Khajuria handed over cheques worth Rs 3.57 lakh to former Minister and senior BJP leader Bali Bhagat for PM CARES Fund.
These cheques were collected by the BJP Mandal team from the people belonging to the different sections of the society who have donated voluntarily towards PM CARES FUND. Subsequently, all the cheques were handed over to J&K BJP general secretary (organization), Ashok Koul at party office, Trikuta Nagar.
All Arya Samajs of Jammu collectively contributed Rs 6,08,000 towards PM CARES Fund through president of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu and Kashmir, Arun Choudhary. Arya Samajs of Gandhi Nagar, Purani Mandi, Trikuta Nagar, Rehari Colony, Udhampur, Bakshi Nagar, Akhnoor and Dayanand Marg contributed. Besides, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, J&K and Arya Veerangana Dal, J&K also donated for PM CARES Fund. Moreover, Arun Choudhary, Akshay Arya and Dr Ashok Gupta individually contributed Rs 51000, Rs 2500 and Rs 2100 respectively.
Chaman Lal Bhat of Rajpura Mangotrian and V K Bakshi (president, KP Sabha, Rajpura unit) donated Rs 11000 each towards PM CARES Fund while Durga Prakash of New Plot contributed Rs 2100.
A class 3rd student namely Harshita too donated for PM CARES Fund. She handed over all her savings from the pocket money she got from her parents, to Dr Narinder Singh, vice-president, J&K BJP.
