JAMMU, Mar 15: Several political and social activists joined Aam Aadmi Party at its office in Gandhinagar here today.
On this occasion besides Amit Langer, Jt Secretary, Jammu Province, Farooq Ahmed Banday, Co-Convener, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Media in-charge and senior leader Dr Rajinder Thappa were also present.
The new entrants are impressed with the socio-welfare schemes launched in Delhi by AAP under dynamic leadership of its leader Arvind Kejriwal. Prominent among those who joined AAP, include, Rashmi Gupta, Manjeet Kour and Ashish Rana.
Welcoming the new entrants in the Party fold, Banday said that the AAP has taken its birth to the service of common man, the workers, laborers and exploited class of the society. He congratulated Delhi people for their wisdom and foresightedness who voted Kejriwal.
