KISHTWAR, Apr 21: Several stranded persons were rescued from Sinthan Top area.
As per reports, following change in weather condition, Sinthan Top and other higher areas of Kishtwar received fresh snowfall. Due to snowfall, several persons on way to Kishtwar got stuck in Sinthan Top area.
After receiving information, District Administration geared up and with the help of 11 Rashtriya rifles, NHIDCL officials and police personnel rescued all the stranded persons and brought them to nearest Army camp safe and sound.
Confirming this, DC Kishtwar Ashok Sharma said that Sinthan Top has witnessed around 1.5 feet fresh snowfall and by the joint efforts, the stranded persons were rescued.
