SRINAGAR, May 3: To help COVID-19 warriors of SMHS Hospital in their efforts and facilitate them in this hour of crisis, a team of Sewa Bharti members called on Principal GMC Srinagar, Prof (Dr) Samia Rashid in his office chambers and handed over 100 PPE kits, here today.
The team also apprised Principal GMC Srinagar about the efforts being taken by the NGO Sewa Bharti all over the Union Territory of J&K and Kashmir in particular. The Principal GMC Srinagar expressed her appreciation for the efforts by the NGO. The team was led by Dr Kulwant Singh Bhau, Senior Consultant Surgery GMC Srinagar and comprised of Dr Farooq Dar, Owner Unani Hospital Batmaloo Srinagar, Dr Manoj Gurjar, Project Coordinator Krishi Vigyan Kendra Baramulla.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Farooq Dar expressed his utmost willingness to serve people of his land and assured all efforts by the general public in handling the situation. Dr. Manoj Gurjar highlighted some concern about the migrant laborers stranded and vowed to help them with daily ration.
Dr Bhau expressed his satisfaction over the efforts made by the Government in this fight and assured to continue such efforts by Sewa Bharti Jammu & Kashmir in the near future too as we believe in the mantra of humanity.
