KATHUA, Dec 3: NHPC Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka, under the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (CSR-SD) Scheme 2018-19 organised a free medical specialization camp, at Government High School, Hutt on Sunday.
The camp was organized in collaboration with Tagore Hospital and Heart Care Center, Jalandhar, which included 25 members of medical specialist and paramedical staff team. Free medical counselling and investigations for Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Urology, General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dental Care etc. were provided and medicines were distributed to patients.
The camp was inaugurated by Rajan Kumar, Chief General Manager, Sewa-II Power Station and Mrs. Rajani, Chairperson of Sewa-II Ladies Service Club. In this program, the head & members of local panchayats, the members of the Head of the Department and the members of the Women Club were also present. In his address, the Chief General Manager informed about the work done by NHPC through its CSR activities and for organizing this Mega Camp.
In the camp, more than 700 patients were given free counselling, testing and medicines as per need.
