JAMMU, Jan 20: Security Forces recovered arms and ammunition from a forest area in Reasi district today.
Official sources said that acting on a tip-off, a joint team of security forces carried out a search operation in the Hariwala and Karamkatha areas of Reasi.
During searches, 29 rounds of AK 47, one pistol with a magazine along with six rounds, six pencil cells, two small rechargeable cells, one explosive powder weighing around one kilogram, a codex wire around 10 meters, two detonators, and a grenade detonator were recovered, they said.
A case has been registered, and an investigation has started.
