SGEJC highlights demands

JAMMU, Dec 19: State Government Employees Joint Committee (SGEJC) held executive body meeting under the chairmanship of its senior member Sushil Sudan and discussed various demands of the employees.
While speaking, Sudan criticized the Government for maintaining silence over the long pending demands of the employees.
He demanded release of salaries of pending employees, reinstatement of Maheshwar Sharma, release of 10 per cent DA, payment of balance sixth pay commission arrears, regularization of daily wagers, casual workers and adhoc employees, removal of pay anomalies and other cadres, qualifying service at par with centre, dislocation allowance, constitution of JCM for smooth relations between Government and employees leaders, budgetary support to the PSUs, etc.
He warned to launch agitation if their demands were not redressed at the earliest.
Among others present were Suresh Sharma, Subash Verma, Pardip Sharma, Kartar Dubey, Ashok Singh, Yash Pal Mangotra, Prem Singh Bawa, etc.
