JAMMU, Dec 7: Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public Hr. Sec. School Kunjwani organized an inter school ‘one act play’ competition under the aegis of Youth Talent Search programme in the school premises, here.
Administrator Charanjeet Kour of the host school welcomed the distinguished guests, judges and the participants.
Chairman Guru Nanak College Jallo Chak Jammu, Prof Harbans Singh was the chief guest and Principal Gurtaj Singh was the guest of honour.
A number of other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Students performed different skits on social issues like Child Labour, Beti Parao Beti Bachao, women empowerment & Swachh Bharat Abhiyan etc.
The audience highly appreciated the performance of the participants and gave them a big hand after each act.
Gagandeep Kour, Sunita Tikku and Avtar Singh were the judges .
New Era Environmental School Jammu won the first prize. JK Montessori School Jammu got second prize and Bikram Memorial School Bishnah claimed third position. A consolation prize was given to S D Tarapuri Public School Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
