JAMMU, Oct 14: Shabnam Bharti of BA Part-III of Government Degree College, Bishnah has been elected as president of Students Council.
She was elected as president during election, in which students of BA Part-I, II and III cast their votes under the supervision of Dean Student’s Welfare, Prof Hardeep Kour and members of the Discipline Committee Prof Archana Bakshi, Prof Alka Sharma, Prof Suman Charak, Prof Sunita Gupta, Prof Seema Jamwal, Prof Savtanter Kour. Besides, Non-Teaching staff were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, CRs of all the classes elected Monika Kaith of BA Part-II as vice-president and Narinder Sharma of BA Part-III as general secretary, Parveen Kumar of BA Part-I as joint secretary and Vishal Jangral of BA Part- II as treasurer.
Prof Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the College encouraged them to work with dedication for the betterment of the college.
