JAMMU, Apr 11: Shah Mohammed Choudhary (Advocate) has been elected a Chairman of the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust.
In a 3rd General Body meeting of the Trust held at Channi Himmat, Bypass Road here today under the leadership of Dr Masud A Choudhary, former founder Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri and patron-in-chief of the Trust today, Shah Mohd Choudhary was elected as new Chairman of the Trust for the next term of three years.
Arshed Ali Choudhary has been elected as new Senior Vice Chairman and Ch Hamid Hussain as Vice Chairman of the Trust. Ch Mohd Sharief Chouhan is the new General Secretary, Ch Asif Khaliq Poswal as Secretary while Ch Iftikhar Hussain Chouhan as Finance Advisor/ Treasurer of the Trust.
The outgoing Chairman, Ch Abdul Hamid and other members of the Executive Body were also felicitated on the ocasion.
Dr Masud Choudhary while speaking on the occasion lauded the services of the outgoing team during its three years term and hoped that new team would also work hard for the betterment and welfare of the Trust and the community. The newly elected Chairman and other members were garlanded and honoured by the members present on the occasion.
