Shah Rukh Khan turns 48

MUMBAI, Nov 2:  Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 48 today, thanked his fans and well-wishers for making him happy on the special day.
The “Chennai Express” star took to the micro-blogging site to express his gratitude for his loved ones, who waited in long queues outside his house with crackers and posters.
“Thank you all on twitter for the madness you have created. People think I am a marketing genius. But it’s you all who make the madness. Love you most.
“Thank you everyone. All who came outside the house with crackers and posters. Love to you all and apologies to the neighbours. Your love makes me happy,” Shah Rukh tweeted.
The actor is currently shooting for Farah Khan’s “Happy New Year” and the entire cast including director, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani wished him on his birthday.
Farah, who also posted a picture, said, “Happy Birthday to my wiser, richer and  ‘older -than me’ friend!.. Picture abhi baaki hain mere dost! Love you!”
“Happy Birthday to a good friend a great guide and best team member to have when playing FIFA. Shah Rukh have a super year, Big love,” co-star Abhishek wrote.
Boman said, “To a man who has never shared a dull moment with the world. Happy Birthday my good man Shahrukh! Lots of love to you.”
Shah Rukh’s IPL rival Raj Kundra, owner of team Rajasthan Royals, also wished him and said, “Many happy returns of the day brother. Wish you happiness, prosperity and even more super duper hits!!”
Actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “Happy Birthday- have a great one – love you always.” (PTI)
