NEW DELHI, Mar 9 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP) on Saturday agreed to jointly contest the 2024 Lok Sabha and the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
On social media handle X, Union Home Minister Amit Shah while welcoming the N Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Pawan Kalyan’s JSP into the NDA fold said that their association will expedite the fulfillment of the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh:
“Under the visionary leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji the NDA is growing continuously as a robust platform for all-inclusive politics. Today, affirming their trust in the leadership of Modi Ji the Telugu Desam Party and the Jana Sena Party have joined the NDA. I welcome Shri @ncbn and Shri @PawanKalyan to the NDA. Their association will expedite the fulfillment of the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh,” Amit Shah said.
TDP chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said that alliance between BJP, TDP and JSP isn’t just an alliance but rather a partnership between three stakeholders committed to serving Andhra Pradesh and the country.”I’m confident that the people of AP will bless this alliance with a historic mandate to serve them.Together, we shall herald a golden era of growth and prosperity for our State,” Naidu posted on X.He further said, “The Telugu Desam Party is committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh and the welfare of the Telugu people”.”I’m pleased to rejoin NDA today. Together with @PawanKalyan Garu, I look forward to working with Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji, Hon’ble HM @AmitShah Ji, and BJP President @JPNadda Ji to form a people’s government in Andhra Pradesh and ushering in a new era of development,’ Naidu said.Meanwhile, BJP national president JP Nadda also welcomed the decision of Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to join the NDA family.
Through his post on X, Nadda said, “I wholeheartedly welcome the decision of Shri @ncbn and Shri @PawanKalyan to join the NDA family. Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Hon.
